And so it begins...

Over the past few months it seems I have learned how important it is to be thankful for the little things in life.  Brian, Andrew and I were blessed with Henry on Aug 24th, a little early, a little scary but most definitely a blessing.  Since then we have had our fair share of scares with out newest addition.  I think I have aged one year for every week of his life so far....hopefully this slows down otherwise I will be in a nursing home by the time he is one.

I am starting this blog to help myself and others remember that the little things in life are important and to remember to take time each day to be thankful for something or some one.

The month of November was month one and I posted via FaceBook status on my personal page like many others in honor of Thanksgiving.  I will be continuing this in addition to my blog...which I hope I can be a bit more detailed about why I am thankful each day.

Here are my first 30 days of being thankful...bad FaceBook grammar included:

Day 1 - I am thankful for my sweet boys. All three of them.

Day 2 - I am thankful that CT power has more crews today to help my family and friends get their electricity back!
